As far as I am concerned, form 4 has been one of the toughest years in my school life at KEVII. Academically, the subjects are much harder and confusing especially chemistry, physics and additional mathematics. At many times I was juggling my classes with my co-curricular activities but at the end, everything just went well and it just set itself right. Coming from a family of prominent Georgians, many have asked me why I chose KEVII to further my secondary school education. Well, frankly saying, I really don’t have a stock answer to that inevitable and invariable question. After completing kindergarten, I was enrolled at the St. Georges Primary School but my parents cancelled that at the last moment and put me in King Edward’s primary. Then I finished six years in primary school. After my UPSR I applied to study at St. Georges Secondary but I ended up at King Edward’s again, but everything turned out well and I am proud to be a Taiping Tiger. Sometimes I feel that fate plays a very important role in our lives. Every time we read the newspaper or switch on the television, there is always some important, tragic, horrifying or happy news on for us to see and listen to. Just give it a think, well, it is a true story that the Titanic sunk many years ago but what could have happened if the Titanic did not sink and it missed the iceberg instead of hitting it? Well this is what I mean by fate. To me, fate is an operation of higher law in our lives. Sometimes people think that fate is what made them great and some say fate is what pulled them down and turned them to losers. However, fate is what brought me to KEVII with the help of luck. |
